CDEF Fellowship Celebrates Oba Ladoja.
Ibadan, Oyo State — September 26, 2026
The Christ Disciples Evangelical Fellowship Worldwide (CDEF Fellowship) joins the people of Ibadanland, sons and daughters of Ibadan, residents, friends and well-wishers around the world to celebrate one year of the reign of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, as the Olubadan of Ibadanland, and to celebrate His Imperial Majesty’s 82nd birthday.
CDEF Fellowship warmly congratulates Kabiyesi on these significant milestones and gives thanks to God for His preservation, grace and guidance throughout the first year of his reign. We pray that the years ahead will be filled with wisdom, peace, good health, strength and meaningful service to the people of Ibadanland.
As a Christian fellowship, we wish Kabiyesi a peaceful, prosperous and fruitful reign. We pray that God will continue to grant him wisdom to lead, humility to listen, courage to do what is right and understanding to handle the responsibilities that come with the throne. May God preserve his life and grant him many more years of service to his people.
On the occasion of his 82nd birthday, we celebrate God’s faithfulness in preserving the life of Kabiyesi and pray for renewed strength, divine wisdom, soundness, peace and continued grace. May this new year of life bring greater fulfilment, honour and opportunities to positively impact Ibadanland and humanity.
We also encourage Kabiyesi to continue to see his position as an opportunity to serve as a father to all. May his reign continue to promote peace, unity, reconciliation, justice and the preservation of the rich cultural heritage of Ibadanland. May he continue to use his influence to encourage cooperation and peaceful coexistence among the people.
To all Ibadan indigenes and residents, this anniversary is also a reminder that the progress of Ibadanland is a collective responsibility. The greatness of Ibadan cannot depend on the traditional institution alone. Every individual has a role to play in building a peaceful, secure, united and prosperous city.
We therefore encourage everyone to respect the traditional institution, promote peace, avoid unnecessary conflict and division, protect the good name of Ibadanland, support positive development and care for one another. Let us also remember our leaders and communities in our prayers, asking God to continue to preserve Ibadanland.
As Christians and people of goodwill, let us continue to pray for Kabiyesi, the Olubadan-in-Council, traditional rulers, government leaders, families, youths, businesses and every resident of Ibadanland.
May God continue to preserve His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, and grant him many more fruitful years on the throne.
May your reign be long.

May your reign be prosperous.
