THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN 💔😭

How the mighty have fallen! — 2 Samuel 1:27

📝 Mssn Adeleke O Oluwatobi

My brothers and sisters, this is not just scripture anymore… this is what we are seeing with our own eyes.

These days, many strong believers are no longer as strong as before. People who used to pray, preach, and stand firm are now tired, overwhelmed, and even silent. If we are honest, many of us can relate. Spiritual fire is fading in many hearts, and strength is being tested in ways people did not expect.

And there is something else we cannot ignore.

Some people think they are strong because they speak in tongues and appear very spiritual. Outwardly they look powerful, active, and “anointed,” but inside many are empty. Beautiful outside, but inside they are rough, broken, and struggling in silence. Not everything that looks spiritual is truly strong.

Recently, I had an experience that really shook me. I went for a night read at the University of Ibadan, and I felt very uncomfortable. I prayed, and later when I slept, I had a deep revelation that there is a serious spiritual battle and manipulation going on beyond what we can physically see. It felt like forces of darkness are trying to influence and weaken the children of God from within, raising opposition even among God’s people; similar to what happened in the days of Balak and Balaam. And I realized that many people are already feeling this pressure in different ways.

But we must also face reality: not everything is only spiritual. Fear is real. Insecurity is real. Hardship is real. Genocide is real... People are going through serious pressure in Nigeria, and it is affecting faith, boldness, and daily life.

We are also seeing painful and disturbing situations;  attacks, kidnappings, and killings. Many innocent people, including Christian leaders, pastors, evangelists, and worshippers, have been targeted or lost their lives. In some places, believers are living under constant fear and pressure. This is deeply painful and cannot be ignored.

That is why many are withdrawing the field work in the name of wisdom. That is why some evangelists also no longer go out freely. That is why night programs are no longer attended like before and this is giving Kingdom of darkness more chance of operating. That is why many who used to stand boldly are now silent, careful, or discouraged.

But even in all this, we must not lose ourselves.

If you are still standing, don’t stand alone. Someone beside you is tired. Someone is discouraged. Someone is quietly giving up. We must support each other, encourage one another, and help restore strength where it is fading.

The truth is: the mighty may have fallen… but they are not finished.

They can rise again. And together, we can rise again.

I drop my pen 🖋️ here today..

It is I, your beloved brother in Christ vineyard,
Mssn Adeleke O Oluwatobi (Eritobi Obaajidara)

I PRAY, YOU WILL NOT FAINT IN CHRIST JESUS MIGHTY NAME 🔥🙏✝️
